Top Ten Tuesday [3]

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together!

  1. I read the ACoTaR books a while back, and enjoyed them. ACOMAF was the standout though. I remember it leaving me very pumped up. Loved One Day in December, With the Fire on High, Night Owl, and You'd Be Mine as well.

    1. Definitely! I will randomly grab ACOMAF and read a few pages before putting it back on the shelf. It never fails to make me feel better! I plan on re-reading the series for my Read the Alphabet Challenge! They all start with A, so I plan on reading them this month. :) One Day in December was an emotional roller coaster thank I don't think I can repeat anytime soon. With the Fire on High was beautifully written and narrated. To Night Owl from Dogfish was totally relatable and I loved it! You'd Be Mine wasn't what I expcted, and I enjoyed it immensely! <3

    1. I am KICKING myself for waiting so long to read the ACOTAR series! It's one of my ABSOLUTE faves (you've seen my tattoo, and probably heard me yammering on about it). I am now a collector of all things ACOTAR, haha. My WINGSPAN ENTUSIAST mug gets used more than any of the others. ;) One Day in December WRECKED me! The Unhoneymooners… Bathroom of Doom!! Hah! Repeat is one I find myself thinking about often, and McGarry's books always make me emotional. <3

    1. One Day in December had me SOBBING! It was such a bittersweet romance throughout the book, and just everything... how things eventually clicked for them. *sighs* The Unhoneymooners was hilarious! The Bathroom of Doom!! Hahaha! Bringing Down the Duke was FANTASTIC! I know you like your historical books, so it should be perfect for you. :)

    1. Nevermoor is SO GOOD. I hope you love it as much as I did! It's a series I've been reading with my son, and he loves it too. Daughter of Smoke and Bone was a re-read for me, although I think I enjoyed it even more the second time. I wanted to refresh my memory before finishing the series. <3
