Top Ten Tuesday [3]

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together!

  1. I read the ACoTaR books a while back, and enjoyed them. ACOMAF was the standout though. I remember it leaving me very pumped up. Loved One Day in December, With the Fire on High, Night Owl, and You'd Be Mine as well.

    1. Definitely! I will randomly grab ACOMAF and read a few pages before putting it back on the shelf. It never fails to make me feel better! I plan on re-reading the series for my Read the Alphabet Challenge! They all start with A, so I plan on reading them this month. :) One Day in December was an emotional roller coaster thank I don't think I can repeat anytime soon. With the Fire on High was beautifully written and narrated. To Night Owl from Dogfish was totally relatable and I loved it! You'd Be Mine wasn't what I expcted, and I enjoyed it immensely! <3

  2. I love seeing the ACOTAR series on your list! I love those books! ♥ I also loved One Day in December (all the feels!). The Unhoneymooners Only a Breath Apart, and Repeat were also really good.

    1. I am KICKING myself for waiting so long to read the ACOTAR series! It's one of my ABSOLUTE faves (you've seen my tattoo, and probably heard me yammering on about it). I am now a collector of all things ACOTAR, haha. My WINGSPAN ENTUSIAST mug gets used more than any of the others. ;) One Day in December WRECKED me! The Unhoneymooners… Bathroom of Doom!! Hah! Repeat is one I find myself thinking about often, and McGarry's books always make me emotional. <3

  3. Yay for One Day in December! The Unhoneymooners was a great read as well. I want to get to Bringing Down the Duke this year!

    1. One Day in December had me SOBBING! It was such a bittersweet romance throughout the book, and just everything... how things eventually clicked for them. *sighs* The Unhoneymooners was hilarious! The Bathroom of Doom!! Hahaha! Bringing Down the Duke was FANTASTIC! I know you like your historical books, so it should be perfect for you. :)

  4. I think it's great that you had such a productive reading year.

    My TTT.

    1. Thanks! I really enjoyed a lot of the books I read this year. <3

  5. what a great year of reading. I loved The Diviners, and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. :)

    1. Yes! I had a wonderful reading year, and I hope 2020 is just as fantastic! I still need to finish both of those series, which I plan to do this year. :)

  6. I think we share almost all the favorites LOL! Seriously, you and I are so on the same page! I love it! Some of these I still need to try but I do have them so yay for that! I just need to make time. ;)

    1. You and I have VERY similar tastes in books! Whenever I visit your blog, you've usually reviewed something I'm about to start reading. <3

  7. AWESOME list!! Small Spaces made my top list as well! :) Happy 2020!

    1. Have you read the second book? Dead Voices? I've heard it's GOOD! :)

  8. I’m going to be starting Nevermoor this month. I’m excited for it. Daughter of Smoke & Bone made my 2019 list too.

Aj @ Read All The Things!

    1. Nevermoor is SO GOOD. I hope you love it as much as I did! It's a series I've been reading with my son, and he loves it too. Daughter of Smoke and Bone was a re-read for me, although I think I enjoyed it even more the second time. I wanted to refresh my memory before finishing the series. <3
