I never expected to come back to blogging—but here I am. I missed it too much. I loved sharing my thoughts on books, but what I missed most was the bookish community. I’ve met some of my closest friends through blogging, and we still keep in touch today.
I have three children—a twelve-year-old and nine-year-old twins. Life is still hectic, but I make it work. I try to carve out time for myself, and reading has always been something I’m passionate about. If that means staying up after everyone else is asleep, that’s fine. Totally worth it. I’ll snuggle up with one or two dogs (my husband insists I keep my cold feet to myself) and read until my book falls on my face—which is far preferable to my Kindle. Ouch.
Simply put, I love reading. I love sharing that love with others who feel the same way. We don’t have to like the same books, and honestly, it’s better when we don’t—some of the best conversations come from differing opinions. There are so many books out there, and they all deserve to be read by someone.

That is so funny "read until my book falls on my face (which is preferable to my Kindle -- ouch!)" because I usually manage to put a book down, but I have hit myself with my tablet more than once and wondered if I'm the only one! ;-)
