Lucky Caller by Emma Mills
[Blog Tour: Spotlight & Giveaway]

Hello! Welcome to the next stop on the Lucky Caller blog tour hosted by Rockstar Book Tours! I was originally slotted to review this book for the tour, but my copy of the book hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully it will get here soon, and I can read and review it before the tour ends. Regardless, I still get to share this lovely spotlight post with you, and there's a giveaway at the bottom! Thanks for stopping by! ๐Ÿ˜

Title: LUCKY CALLER
Author: Emma Mills
Pub. Date: January 14, 2020
Publisher: Henry Holt & Company
Formats: Hardcover, eBook, Audiobook
Pages: 336
Find it: Goodreads, Amazon, Kindle, Audible, B&N, iBooks, Kobo, TBD

With the warmth, wit, intimate friendships, and heart-melting romance she brings to all her books, Emma Mills crafts a story about believing in yourself, owning your mistakes, and trusting in human connection in Lucky Caller.

When Nina decides to take a radio broadcasting class her senior year, she expects it to be a walk in the park. Instead, it’s a complete disaster.

The members of Nina's haphazardly formed radio team have approximately nothing in common. And to maximize the awkwardness her group includes Jamie, a childhood friend she'd hoped to basically avoid for the rest of her life.

The show is a mess, internet rumors threaten to bring the wrath of two fandoms down on their heads, and to top it all off Nina's family is on the brink of some major upheaval.

Everything feels like it's spiraling out of control―but maybe control is overrated?

    1. Fingers crossed it gets here sometime this week! I'll have a few hours to myself this weekend (getting another tattoo!) and will have time to read. :)

  3. Well, I am relieved to hear that this spotlight is because you didn't get to read the book and not because you didn't like it (that would have destroyed me). I really hope you get to read it, because it was so sweet and touching and fun.

    1. I think this will be my first book by the author! Unless I read one years ago and just can't remember, haha. I emailed them before the tour to say it hadn't arrived, and they said the holidays were likely causing a delay, so the publisher was going to overnight a copy. It never got here, and I can't review something I don't have! I'm not too worried about it. This has happened before, and it will likely happen again. I'll just wait and see if my library gets a copy. :)

    1. I know the holidays usually delay mail, but I was told the publisher overnighted a copy so I could read and review it before my tour stop. There's still a chance it could get here before it's release date, but I'm not going to hold my breath. ;)

  13. Ahh I've seen this book a lot around the blogging community lately! The only other YA I've read about running a show was Rayne and Delilah's Midnite Matinee, but those girls were running a TV show. I will definitely be adding this book to my TBR, and I hope you have the chance to review it soon :)
