Top Ten Tuesday [12]

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together!

This week's topic: Books Set in Snowy Places

I'm also going to include books that have memorable snow scenes! For example, the snowball fight in A Court of Frost and Starlight. I also had a REALLY hard time narrowing it down to ten. 😅

Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
The Artic Incident by Eoin Colfer *review

The Silver Arrow by Lev Grossman *review

  1. OOh nice picks! Some of these I can't believe I forgot took place in snowy places! I guess I didn't pay much attention to those little kinds of things...or most likely it's been wayyyy too many books since I've read them that I forgot this detail! LOL.

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. I read five of these. I am trying to remember the snowy bits in In Five Years. That book broke my heart.

    1. The very end of the book happens during the first snowstorm of the year!

I don't think I'll ever be able to reread this one.

  3. I'd add the books by Eowyn Ivey to this list, especially her debut The Snow Child!

Also- thank you for your recent comment! I'm glad you're still around! And if you need a recommendation for a good pizza place if you guys go to the Windy City I have one lol.

    1. Definitely! I'll reach out whenever we plan our vacation. I'm also glad to see you're still around as well! I don't think most of us blog as consistently as we used to, but it's nice seeing familiar faces on here and getting to interact with one another.
