My Weekly Pull [77] & Can't Wait Wednesday [47]

My Weekly Pull is something I do every Wednesday to show which comics I had pulled for me that week! If you're into comics, or you're looking to start, please join me! If you decide to do your own post, there's a link-up at the bottom. I would love to stop by and check it out!
Transformers #8 by Brian Ruckley, Cachet Whitman, Anna Malkova, Bethany McGuire-Smith

Jacob's comics for the week!
Batman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #3 (of 6) by James Tynion IV, Freddie Williams II, Kevin Eastman
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #95 by Tom Waltz, Dave Wachter, Kevin Eastman
Punisher #13 by Matthew Rosenberg, Szymon Kudranski, Greg Smallwood
Savage Avengers #3 by Gerry Duggan, Mike Deodato, David Finch

Only one for me this week! I need to catch up on my comics, but haven't had the time! I'm in the middle of two really good books, so I always want to grab one of those when I have a few minutes to spare. I really want to read these comics, but it's so hard to choose sometimes! I love it! This Transformers series has been amazing so far, and I highly recommended it to anyone who enjoys these characters.

Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings, that highlights upcoming releases that we're anticipating and excited to read. It's a spinoff of the feature Waiting on Wednesday that was hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Blastaway by Melissa Landers
Expected publication: July 9th 2019
Synopsis (via Goodreads): Kyler Centaurus isn't your typical runaway. All he wanted was a quick trip to the legendary Fasti Sun Festival. Who wouldn't want to see new stars being born? Um, try Kyler's entire family. They couldn't care less about mind-blowing wonders of science.

When an accidental launch sequence ends with Kyler hurtling through space on the family cruiser, the thrill of freedom is cut short by two space pirates determined to steal his ship. Not happening!

Luckily, Kyler bumps into Fig, a savvy young Wanderer who makes a living by blowing up asteroids. She could really use a ride to Earth and Kyler could really use a hand with the pirates.

But when Kyler learns the truth about Fig's mission, the two must put aside their differences long enough to stop the threat of astronomical proportions racing towards Earth?

This book sounds like it'll be fun to read with my monsters, and I absolutely love the cover! It makes me think of Wall-E and Zathura. Does anyone else remember Zathura?

    1. That is incredibly sad! I'm reading through one of the older Venom series (wanted to get through it before starting the new one by Donny Cates), so I always have it to fall back on whenever I'm out of my ongoing stuff. :)

    1. I actually prefer the comics to the movies! The television shows are also better, I think. I love watching them with my kids. The current Transformers comic has started over from the very, very beginning, so we get to see what Cybertron looks like, and who the bots were before the war. It's very interesting!
