My Weekly Pull [22]

My Weekly Pull is something I do every Wednesday to show which comics I had pulled for me that week! If you're into comics, or you're looking to start, please join me! If you decide to do your own post, leave a link in the comments. I would love to stop by and check it out!

The Amazing Spider-Man #800 by Dan Slott, Stuart Immonen, Ron Frenz
Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows #19 by Jody Houser, Nathan Stockman, Ryan Stegman
Marvel Two-In-One #6 by Chip Zdarsky, Jim Cheung, Gerald Parel (Deadpool Variant)
X-Men Red Annual #1 by Tom Taylor, Pascal Alixe, Travis Charest
You Are Deadpool #5 (of 5) by Al Ewing, Paco Diaz, Razzah, Salva Espin (RPG Variant)

I have been really bad about posting things on time this week! Summer makes me lazy, haha. It's too hot to do anything, and going outside drains all of my energy. By the time I get the kiddos to sleep at night, I just want to binge-watch Fairy Tail or read. I have to force myself to clean and water the garden.

The Amazing Spider-Man hits #800 this week! Crazy, right? This comic has been ongoing for years. Just think... if they release one new comic every month, that's twelve comics in a year... and this is up to 800

Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows is still one of my favorite comics ever.

I almost stopped reading the Marvel Two-In-One, but it started to get really good last month! I actually feel invested in the characters and what they're doing. So happy I stuck with this one! I also really love its Deadpool variant!

I'm actually behind on X-Men Red, but I plan on reading the last two issues back-to-back when I get a chance! See? Summer makes me lazy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is the last issue for the You Are Deadpool mini series! It was like a choose your own adventure type book, and I wanted to have them all before I started! I just knew that I wouldn't want to start this one and then have to wait a week before continuing. Now I don't have to! (It had a weekly release instead of a monthly.)

Are you reading anything new this week? Let me know! Also, if you have a comic/graphic novel feature that you do every week/month, leave a link in the comments! I would love to check it out and maybe include my post, too.

  2. Congrats on all your new additions! And I hear you on the heat and being tired. This time of year with school winding down is always a hard one.

    1. I don't mind going out in the winter--you can always add more layers! That doesn't really apply for summer, and being naked would be hazardous anyways. I also don't want to take the kids out when it's scorching.

  3. I've always liked the spider man movies.

    1. The newest one is my favorite! Spider-Man Homecoming. I think Tom Holland is very accurate portrayal of Peter Parker.

  4. Summer makes me lazy too. It’s the heat. I hope you enjoy all these. I feel like if I ever started comics I’d never catch up.

    1. It might look overwhelming, but you just have to find what you like! They're always starting new things or renewing volumes for the more popular ones. If you have a comic shop in your town, you could always stop by and ask them what's coming out! Comiclist(dot)com is helpful, too.

  5. X-Men Red has me curious, I'm behind on them. I was reading All-New X-Men for a while but since then I'm outta the loop.

I do a Comic of the Week every Friday where I showcase a comic or graphic novel that I love, often for the cover or just because it's a favorite, if you ever want to join in.

    1. Thanks for letting me know! I think I've stumbled across your Comic of the Week post a few times, but I didn't know it was something I could tag myself on to!

X-Men Red is a favorite. Definitely! All-New X-Men just stopped working for me... boo.
