My Weekly Pull [15]

My Weekly Pull is something I do every Wednesday to show which comics I had pulled for me that week! If you're into comics, or you're looking to start, please join me! If you decide to do your own post, leave a link in the comments. I would love to stop by and check it out!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #81 by Tom Waltz, Brahm Revel, Kevin Eastman
Despicable Deadpool #298 by Gerry Duggan, Mike Hawthorne
Domino #1 by Gail Simone, David Baldeon, Greg Land
Falcon #7 by Rodney Barnes, Sebastian Cabrol, Jay Anacleto

Spider-Man Deadpool #31 by Robbie Thompson, Chris Bachalo
Thanos #18 by Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, Mike Perkins (Venom 30th Anniversary Variant)
Venomized #2 (of 5) by Cullen Bunn, Iban Coello,
X-Men Red #3 by Tom Taylor, Mahmud A. Asrar, Inhyuk Lee (Venom 30th Anniversary Variant)

Do you remember when I said we were going to cut back on our comics? Well, that's very difficult to do when more comics are being released that I really want to read! Do you see that Domino cover? It looks amazing! X-Men Red is only on it's third issue, but it's already sooo good. I'm not entirely sure what Venomized is (still reading through all the Venom issues), but I love that cover of him eating pizza on the wall.

It's not a big pull this week, but that gives us more time to sort through what we already have. I don't think we can fit any more comic boxes in our closet. ๐Ÿคท

    1. I love looking at the artwork! Have you ever watched someone sketch a panel? It's crazy detailed and takes a lot of work. I can't imagine how much time one artist spends on a single issue.

    1. I love that he's on the side of a building eat a pizza, lol. I believe that variant is going to be part of a connecting series, so in the end all 5 issues will make one big picture. It sounds so complicated, but I think the end results are amazing!

I'm a casual reader of comics (I should read so many more than I do!!!), you seem to have some exciting ones on your list. Hope you enjoy them! Happy reading!

    1. Thanks! I love this feature because I love showing off all the covers! Comic artists are incredibly talented. I can't imagine how long it takes them to draw an entire issue!

    1. I read the Domino issue last night--beautiful and a little dark. I don't know much about her history, and the first issue was pretty informative. It gives you the general gist of her past and what her abilities are. I'm curious what is going to happen, and there was a MAJOR cliffhanger!

  10. Do you read Lashaan @ Bookidote?! If you don't you should head over there... he ADORES comics and I only know what I know because of his wise and indepth coverage of the comics he loves. You remind him of me and I'm probably going to pick some up in your guys name... well I did get Saga because of him already... ❤️

    1. I don't! Checking them out now...

Just from glancing at their blog briefly, it looks like they watch a lot of Marvel and read a lot of DC. I'll start following them and check out a few of their posts. Thanks for the blog rec!

I've heard wonderful things about Saga! I've been meaning to try that one myself. If you're just starting out, try X-Men Red (it's only on the third issue), or All-New Hawkeye (just finished it's last issue). Spider-Man Renew Your Vows is AMAZING.
